Why The SMB Success Playbook?

 

For years, I’ve loved creating Tech Talk with Dan Harley—a vlog series where I tackled real problems small businesses faced in the digital world. Most of my content stemmed from actual client challenges, which meant I was solving three problems at once:

 

  1. My client’s issue was resolved.
  2. Another current or future client with the same issue found a solution. 
  3. I had fresh content for my website and audience.

 

While I truly enjoyed making those vlogs, there was one major issue: time. Each episode took hours to film, edit, and publish—sometimes three hours or more for just one video. In that same time, I could have written three in-depth articles, solving three different problems and reaching a broader audience much faster.

 

That’s why I created The SMB Success Playbook—a blog series dedicated to proactive digital marketing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Rather than just reacting to problems as they arise, this series will provide actionable, step-by-step advice to help SMBs stay ahead of the curve and avoid common pitfalls before they happen.
